Jason Nestor is General Manager, IBM Caribbean. He is responsible for IBM Business Performance in the Caribbean. His responsibility includes leading and directing management decisions, business development, and implementing long and short term sales strategies. This includes all of IBM's lines of business (Services, Software, Hardware and Global Financing), client and partner relationships and support functions. The Caribbean is one of IBM's most diverse operations and includes sales, support and delivery functions to clients across 24 islands in the English and Dutch speaking Caribbean territory. Prior to his current role, Jason was the Global Client Director for Tesco Plc. Operating in the Retail, Banking and Insurance Industries. He worked very closely with his client to help improve the in-store customer experience to help drive increased revenue and margins through exploitation of multichannel, social media, digital technologies and advanced consumer analytics tools. Jason joined IBM in 1998 as a Software Developer. During his career with the company, he has held a variety of leadership, consulting and sales positions, across Global Business Services, Sales & Distribution and Systems Group aligned to Retail, Travel & Transportation, Telecommunications, and Public Sector industries.
